DraftKings Matchup Odds and Picks: TNF Patriots vs Rams

I recently discovered the Matchups section on the DraftKings Sportsbook app and I’m already hooked. To find Matchups, go to a specific game and then Player Props. Scroll down until you find it. The concept is simple: pick the player who you think will have better stats. Easy money. Let’s explore the matchups for tonight’s game between the New England Patriots and the LA Kings of Fraudland (Rams). If you don’t get the Kings of Fraudland reference, listen to the podcast.

Most Passing Yards – Jared Goff (-400) vs Cam Newton (+300): This is a no brainer. It’s Jared Goff. Unfortunately, the odds are heavily favored towards Goff which means you’re going to have to put up a lot of money for a decent payout.

Most Receiving Yards – Robert Woods (-150) vs Jakobi Meyers (+120): Jakobi Meyers had a MONSTER game back in Week 9 vs the Jets. He put up 169 yards (nice). However, since that game, he’s been a wuss and only averaging 40 yards per game. Robert Woods, on the other hand, has been a steady workhorse. He’s averaging 80 yards per game the last 4 weeks. I’m hammering Robert Woods!

Most Receiving Yards – Cooper Kupp (-200) vs Damiere Byrd (+156): Goff’s favorite target, Kupp, always has a chance to break 100 receiving yards/game. Kupp is also a pro at getting more yards after the catch. He’s a shifty motherfucker. Damiere Byrd, like Jakobi Meyers, had one big game this season. He recorded 130 yards against the Texans in Week 11. That’s an obvious outlier. Pick Kupp.

Most Rushing Yards – Cam Akers (-112) vs Damien Harris (-112): This one is interesting! Damien Harris has 641 rushing yards this season, while Cam Akers only has 357 yards. However, Akers was out a few weeks earlier in the season. He’s also been muy caliente the past couple of games. He also had a season high 21 carries last game. In other words, his stock is rising. BUY BUY BUY! STONKS ONLY GO UP! Money printer go BRRRRRR.

Unfortunately, you can’t parlay matchups. Otherwise, I’d be parlaying ALL OF THEM. But there you go, I just gave you the special sauce… now let’s win some money!
