If you haven’t seen Mank! on Netflix yet, I highly recommend it.
Oregon has been added to my shit list after last week and will not be removed. I had my doubts with the pick but after being mesmerized by the flashy uniforms and fond memories of the Chip Kelly offense I locked it in, remember kids – when in doubt take Bama. Bama won’t give you up, they won’t let me down, they will dominate other teams.Â
This is a very interesting week in college football. Kirk Herbstreit’s big Mich/OSU take was completely justified and although there was hope of a second 2020 top 5 matchup between OSU and Texas A&M, nothing ever came of it and after numerous cancellations, we are left with a pretty bare slate. That being said there are still some fun games; two top 25 matchups, Bama is playing at noon to kick off the day right, and USC plays UCLA in primetime on ABC – a Pac-12 matchup that actually should be fun.Â
I will only be doing the Love list this week being there are so few matchups.
2020 Week 15:
Penn State vs Michigan State (+14.5)
I really don’t believe in Penn State, to be honest I don’t believe in Michigan State either, especially after what they showed against Ohio State last week but 14.5 is too many points. Penn State wins, Michigan State covers – this is going to be a shitty shitty football game.
Miami (FL) vs North Carolina (+2.5)
I have bet on both of these teams this year to some success and some failure. Here is all I can say about this matchup. UNC has one of the best offenses in the entire country, they score points by the bundle and do so quickly. Miami is coming off a 45-0 win over Duke but have won close games against bad teams all year outside of their terrible performance vs Clemson. I just trust UNC more and I would much rather root for them so this is an easy choice.
USC (-2.5) vs UCLA
USC is the 15th ranked team in the country right now and for good reason, they are 4-0, average over 300 yards of passing per game, and have the big name that ESPN loves. UCLA and USC have very similar resumes as far as yards and points allowed but I am taking the ranked team, especially when UCLA lost to my arch nemesis Oregon in their third game. I’m going with USC in a borderline pick em.
